♡ When I first started listening to Marina and the Diamonds it was her sound that held me captive. She sang songs with lyrics both clever and vulnerable as well as more energetic club tunes that made me wish I was a " party girl. " When I finally got around to searching for a music video or two on youtube I was thrilled to see her amazing personal style and instantly fell more in love!
Her style is retro but modern at the same time and I absolutely love how she uses vibrant pastels and neons with more classic shapes. That coupled with her big hair, bold make-up choices and that signature heart makes her a true icon for me. Lately I've had her on in the background as I scan my favorite blogs, and have felt really inspired to try more colorful clothing and more unique silhouettes!
